Artist Statement
I make pictures using a modern Leica digital camera and prefer using the traditional black and white image as my way of expressing my feelings and ideas of the human condition without the distraction of color. I try to capture in an honest documentary style how we as humans relate to one another and to our modern environment with all of our innocence and wisdom, grace and complexity, the good and bad side of our personalities. I try to understand where we are going as a race and use my camera to bring awareness to those who look at my photographs.
